Beginning January 1, 2003, Skydive Kansas will require all rigs jumped at Skydive Kansas to be equipped with a computer based Automatic Activation Device. Currently, the only two AAD's that are computer based are the FXC Astra and the Airtec Cypres. Gear that does not meet this requirement will not be allowed to be used at the DZ. However, gear rental is available for those without AAD's wishing to jump.
