'03 Christmas Party
Gathering for good food, good times, and good memories, the Skydive Kansas Christmas party hosted at Lobo's house Dec 6th was one to remember (and I forget why!?) 

Thanks to Bob & Kathy Lowe for offering their beautiful home and providing fantastic food and refreshments!  Part of the festivities included slide shows and videos from the year, plus door prizes and awards.  Nick Bennett won a lottery ticket for $10,000 but he failed to claim it within the 30 second time limit.  Rick Gardner became an "AIR BOSS" officially, and Bill Hubbell was the only person to "Win A Skydive!" trivia game (without cheating of course!)  And the Load Hog of the Year Award went to Jason Norris!  This award featured a large trophy with a "Hog" on top and name plates on the base.  Jason won this award for making the most solo jumps at Skydive Kansas in 2003.  Past winners include Paul Eriksmoen, 2000; Paul Eriksmoen, 2001; and Turk Chapman, 2002.

One of the highlights of the evening, however, was a FANTASTIC gift presented to the DZ: a 27 inch TV that works, that you don't have to climb up to set up video and that doesn't have LINES in the top part of the screen!  We are grateful to all of our wonderful friends for this gift and it has already replaced the broken one at the DZ!

Thank you to all who have shared in the unprecedented, amazing DZ experience this year!
