Nate Gets in Trouble
The Osage City Police was called out by the FAA to the Osage City Airport on Feb. 14th.  Why?  To check on K-State student and Private Pilot Nate Hinkel, who flew a club plane to Osage so he could make a skydive.  One problem... he forgot to close his flight plan, so they came looking for him!  Although we had a good laugh at his expense, it was encouraging to see how the system works to protect pilots and help with search and rescue.  Nate, you knew we couldn't let you live this one down!
