Wing Extensions for Bravo!
Bravo now has the same 36" wing extensions enjoyed by all who ride N100SD!  So, who wants to push the plane into the hanger now? Maiden Voyage was February 14th!

But due to the cold, bad, snowy Kansas weather, getting the plane TO Osage was an ordeal.  The weekend of February 7th, in 35+ mph winds and 18 degree weather, we struggled but managed to get Bravo back home in the hangar.

As if fighting the weather wasn't enough, we had to dig several feet of snow out around the hangar door just to get it open.  But the ice had frozen the door shut.  We took a sledge hammer to the iron frame to break it loose.  But the pulley system wasn't strong enough to open the heavy door still and the chain broke.

Rick and Turk pushed the door open enough holding it in place with 2 x 4's to work on the broken chain.  Of course, then there was the issue of the plane sliding in the snow and ice as they pushed it into the hangar... no worries, there is only 3 inches of clearance on each wing going into the hangar!  But Jim, the pro, only took 2 tries to get it!

So, when is Spring getting here?
