Wireless Now available
For those with approval from management, free wireless internet access is now available at the dropzone. You must sign the Acceptable Use Policy and have explicit permission to use this cool new perk!

Happy Birthday!
October 8, 2007 marked the 12th birthday of our dropzone! We've made over 26,000 jumps in that time. Though weather precluded jumping in celebration, Janelle & John made (and ate most of) a cake!




KU Club Day: Sep 30!
Members of the KU Skydiving Club are jumping with us on Sunday, September 30th!
It was windy tho, had to reschedule :(



Best Wishes for Bryan & Joni Winters!
Saturday, July 7, at 3:00pm Bryan Winters and Joan Hudson were united in marriage on the lawn of the Osage City airport. Literally taking the plunge, 30 minutes later they were making their first jumps in the skies above. Best wishes go out to these "love birds" from Overbrook!

Troy wins Accuracy Contest
Stradling the orange cone, Troy Barnt won the Accuracy Contest Saturday July 7th, and earned a FREE jump! More contests coming up, so come out to the DZ and find out more... Total now over 25,000 skydives!
Saturday, June 23 marked a milestone number for the dropzone. Total skydives made at Skydive Kansas since our beginnings reached 25,000 on load 3 when Matt Royal in his commemorative pink jumpsuit leaped from an airplane for the first time on a tandem with Bill.

DZ now has Internet Access
Although limited (and SLOWER than dialup) we now have internet access at the dz. No, you can't surf or check your email, but we now can look up weather information and radar to make better judgements on those iffy days. Plus, we can now accept personal checks and process them via ACH instantly!

NEW LOOK for our website!
Skydive Kansas has revamped our website to provide an interactive experience while keeping easy navigation. New features include paying online through other methods besides paypal: MC/ VISA/ Discover, and even check! We have a new calendar, new scheduling system, new photo gallery, jokes, and more! Take a look, and if you have suggestions, let Jen know!

Topeka Boat Show: Who won the FREE skydive?
February 9, 10, & 11, Skydive Kansas had a booth at the Boat & Outdoor Show at the Topeka Expo center.  We held a drawing for a FREE tandem skydive.
